1. Download the App

  • Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  • Search for “Flower Care” by Huahua or Mi.
  • Confirm the app icon shows a green leaf or plant symbol.
  • Tap Download or Install.

2. Create or Log Into Your Mi Account

  • Open the app after installation.
  • Tap “Mi Login” on the welcome screen.
  • Choose “Sign In” if you already have a Mi account.
  • Or tap “Create Account” to register a new one using your email or phone number.

3. Enable Bluetooth and Location

  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Allow Location Access when prompted; this helps the app detect nearby devices.

4. Add Your Flower Care Device

  • Tap the “+” icon in the app to add a new device.
  • Select “Flower Care Sensor” or the correct product name from the list.

5. Pair the Device

  • Keep your phone close to the sensor within 10 cm (4 inches).
  • The app will automatically scan and detect the device.
  • Once found, tap “Bind” or “Connect”.

6. Confirm Connection

  • You’ll see a message like:
    ✅ “1 new device found”
    ✅ “Device binding successful”
  • The sensor is now linked to your app.

7. Start Monitoring Your Plant

  • Choose the plant type from the database.
  • Place the sensor in the soil near your plant.
  • The app will begin tracking moisture, light, temperature, and fertility.

Easy setup. Quick to integrate with home assistant, as there is no encryption. One can just passively listen to advertisement data.

Works perfectly with home assistant. After connecting with ha cannot connect to app, but for me rhis is not an issue
